CO2 Performance Ladder launches pilot in Portugal to accelerate sustainable procurement

The COPerformance Ladder is now launching a pilot in Portugal. Aliados Consulting is the national coordinator to lead this pilot, aimed at accelerating decarbonization and promoting sustainable public procurement in the country.

Following successful implementations in the Netherlands and Belgium, and pilot projects in countries such as Ireland, France, the UK, and Germany, the CO2 Performance Ladder provides a tested methodology for reducing CO2  emissions. It supports companies in integrating sustainability into their operations and value chains, offering competitive advantages in procurement processes by encouraging suppliers to lower their emissions.
